Licensed Vocational Nurse (Community Living Center)
The primary purpose of the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is to perform assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, position customer service and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran. The LVN performs within this functional statement under close supervision of the Nurse Manager or designee. Assigned tasks require basic technical competence and skill. The position requires an individual who is motivated and an excellent team player, with flexibility to assume other functions related to patient care on an as-needed basis within the Community Living Center environment. Possesses excellent communication skills and can effectively interact with Veteran's and their families. Demonstrates time management and organizational skills in the workday.
