Position Details:

• Full Time
• Days
• Monday - Friday
• 100% inpatient
• No Call
• General Hematology/Oncology patients

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement clinical expertise in cancer screening and diagnosis
• Cancer assessment, screening and management including hematologic malignancies, solid tumors
• Provide cancer patient education of chemotherapy and immunotherapy; managing chemo related adverse effects, side effects and complications.
• Maintain accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary health team.
• Utilize critical thinking to synthesize and analyze collected data, develop, evaluate and control quality of care, alter the plan of care and improve outcome.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Master’s Degree required
• If new graduate, clinical rotation or RN experience in Hematology/Oncology desired
