Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of the Tissue, Ocular, Donation Services, Birth Tissue and Northern Nevada Departments. Duties and responsibilities include ensuring that all policies and procedures are consistent with Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), Eye Banking Association of America (EBAA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulations and/or standards while ensuring that all subordinate staff are fully trained and compliant with all policies and procedures in collaboration with departmental leadership. Collaborates with NDN Medical Directors and Senior Leadership colleagues to strategize opportunities for improvement and best practices implementation in accordance with industry standards.
