Indiana University Health Physicians is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Indianapolis, IN!
Position Highlights:
Participate in the growth and expansion of the anesthetist profession within the adult academic health center
Involvement in student, resident and fellow training, including a faculty appointment
Full-Time, Weekend Night Shift
Friday - Sunday, 6:00pm-7:00am
No call required.
Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities including: ENT, GYN, ERCP, ECT, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, general, thoracic and cardiac
Procedures include: IV placement, airway management, arterial & central cath placement, general & regional anesthesia
Qualifications:
Must hold current ACLS and PALS certifications
Provider licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant:
Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold a current certification
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:
Must have graduated from Master’s level Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)
Must have passed the National Certification Examination (NCE) and hold a current certification from the Council of Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
