Position SummaryPCH is hiring an experienced Transplant Coordinator for our liver transplant team. This position will work alongside a team of 1 transplant assistant, 2 other coordinators, 3 physicians and 4 APP’s. This is a growing department, and will support the care of several patients at any given time. The incumbent will coordinate care between providers, hospital visits (admits/discharge); order/review lab work and most importantly, provide education on the transplant process and what to expect for the patient and their families. They will also be responsible for consenting and listing of new transplant patients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a very fluid environment, and be adaptable to change that is expected for a developing program/unit.
