Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics
Job SummaryTo assist with patient care and management under the responsibility and supervision of the surgeon. To perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physician to extend his/her services. Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the diagnosis and, thereby, the therapeutic plan of the surgeon.A major role will be as patient advocate in the medical care system, serving as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients and physicians. Reports directly to the surgeon for all patient-care-related functions.This position will require nights and weekends on a rotational basis.Job DutiesMust have proven ability to work in a team environmentDemonstrated deep concern for the health and well-being of others.
