Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Department, Observation Unit
Practice Description Fairview Health Services seeks a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care and services to patients in the Emergency Department Observation Unit at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Campus. The Observation Unit is a 9 bed unit that is located in the hospital and is designed to streamline ED throughput by moving patients presenting with more complex conditions into an area better suited for their treatment. The setting is geared toward patients who require more management or attention than can be given in the traditional ED, but do not need the length or level of services provided in the inpatient setting.
