Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services/RN Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) is responsible for assisting the primary surgeon in the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative period. Care is provided to pediatric through geriatric patient populations; acts in the absence of a qualified physician. Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduate of a RNFA program accredited by the Certified Board of Peri-operative Nursing
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:Current California RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS.CNOR certification preferred.Certified RNFA preferred.
