Performs all EKGs, Holter Monitors, FAA EKG & Urine Collection, Event Monitors, Pulmonary Function Testing, Oximeter, and other duties as assigned by department leader or director. Responsible for confirming CPT & ICD-9 codes, obtaining waivers if applicable, making sure authorization numbers are received prior to scanning.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least one year EKG experience in clinic or hospital setting.
Basic computer skills (window based)
Basic office equipment & EKG, Monitor equipment
Good organizational skills, working knowledge of medical terminology, good interpersonal skills, ability to work in fast-paced environment, must be flexible.
