Be an active member of the multi-disciplinary patient treatment team
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
Provide general and psychiatric patient care
Document and communicate unusual changes in client behaviors
Assist with patient groups and activities
With proper training, you will work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs.
You will be trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care, therapeutic boundaries, and crisis intervention techniques.
A "Baylor Position"; means you will work two (2) 12-hour shifts every weekend. You will have an additional eight (8) hours paid to you each week that you successfully complete both weekend shifts. These additional hours will be straight time, and will not constitute hours worked as it relates to benefits accruals or overtime calculations.
