Responsibilities: We offer a career ladder of Nurse I, II and III, depending on experience and/or growth in the role. In this position, you will have the chance to inspire confidence in both patients and your coworkers and show your passion for working with those overcoming chemical dependence and co-occurring mental health issues. As part of a larger team, you will be responsible for a wide range or tasks from assessing patients' medical needs, monitoring medications, tracking TB skin tests and monitoring random drug screens to assisting the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner and physician's assistant as needed. Qualifications: You should be licensed in California as a vocational nurse (LVN/LPN) or psychiatric technician (LPT). You will become certified as a chemical dependency counselor or registered to become licensed or certified within 90 days of hiring. We have opportunities ranging from entry-level to experienced nursing positions. At least one year working within a medical facility is helpful and you will need a general knowledge of computer software applications like MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
