The Project Coordinator will independently manage the Revenue Cycle and Practice Optimization Initiative and provide administrative support for the Medical Director of Practice Optimization and Engagement as well as the Director of Pediatric and Practice Operations. This position will proactively coordinate projects and programs by assuring effective and timely completion by completing research, organizing data, creating agendas and determining key steps in project planning to assure success. Supports other Practice leaders as assigned based on the needs of the organization.
Key job functions for this position include:
Evaluate and summarize project(s) reports, identifying successful completions of milestones and deliverables, change management process and any problems or issues and any follow-up action required.
Communicate status and identify issues with status of optimization initiatives.
Create business plans for revenue cycle and practice optimization initiatives.
Develop and assist the team in the implementation of project plans for assigned projects and programs from their inception. actively serves as a member of the project team.
Create trackers once initiatives are implemented and executed.
Create and maintain strong, resilient relations with individuals at a variety of levels at the client organization and within internal teams inside of Nemours.
Maintain inventory of all payor policies through the creation of a centralized database.
Coordinate and schedule all meetings related to the revenue cycle and practice optimization work.
Function as a liaison in inter- and intra-departmental communication as well as serves as the front face for any requests from the practice.
Designs, standardizes and monitors operations of this team.
Serves as the coordinator of requested information by corporate entities assuring timely and effective completion.
Associate's degree preferred
High School Diploma required
Previous experience with Excel required.
2 years of administrative experience required, healthcare experience preferred
